Book Writing Step 1: The unconventional team.

The first step in my book writing process was to get a partner. I know not many people write books in a team setting, but when I told my mother that Mitch had said yes to write the book, she said, I’ve always wanted to write his story. Working with her was not what I pictured, but after reflection it made better sense to bring her on as part of the team. The Bible wasn’t written by just one person, magazines aren’t prepared by one writer, so why is a book? Either I told her part of the story or she did. Being comfortably retired from her career, I believed that she had room in her life for this project and knew it would be a fun opportunity for the two of us to work together.
